A To Kill a Mockingbird reference. That's new. I wonder what Sweetie's parents will say... as soon as their hearts start up again because I know mine would stop if I say a tree house possessed by horrors from beyond the veil of time and space clutching my hypothetical daughter in its jaws.
How? How can you consider yourself alive without partaking in horror or something well written every now and then? Life without The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and The Last Wish isn't worth living.
It is not a horror book, more of a "slice of life" book written to be realistic. It's based during the times of Slavery. Atticus Finch is a lawyer who was assigned to defend a black suspect in a murder case. It does not get down-and-gritty horrifying; more-or-less it is just a slice-of-life story told from a viewpoint of a little girl.
And btw PyramidHead, for clarification, the book is called To Kill A Mockingbird.
And I hated the book, just as I hated The Giver and a few other books I was forced to read. Though, now that I think of it, it wasn't too bad really. Gotta give every book some credit.
